Definitely recommend that you all check out My Favorite Cafe on Mariner Blvd. I went in and had this Louisiana Burger with onions, mushrooms and delicious cheese. One of the chefs told me that they are changing the menu up and making more things from scratch and are even grinding their own meat. Can't wait to see what else they add to the menu.

I'll start out by saying the employees are super nice and attentive. They are the only reason this review is not a 1 star. They are all great. The Bad: My wife and I placed a Togo order yesterday morning and found hair in our food. My bacon had a long strand wrapped around it and my wife had an eyebrow length hair in hers. My wife politely called the restaurant just to notify them of the situation and suggest a hair net for the cook. They were extremely apologetic and asked for us to come back tomorrow morning for a free breakfast. We placed our order this morning and the waitress remembered us. They were very pleasant and said thank you for giving us a second chance. They provided excellent customer service. We drove home and as soon as I opened my box, I discovered my sausage link was wrapped with yet another piece of long hair. I couldn't believe this happened two days in a row! If you eat here, please make sure you inspect your food for the cook's hair. My wife and I will not be returning to this restaurant. It's a shame because the waitress' are very nice.

DO NOT VISIT ~ BEWARE! This place is nasty, we live in Spring Hill and tried it because of the reviews. The water they served has an odor and a nasty after taste - unfiltered and DISGUSTING. We will never come back here again and we recommend you STAY AWAY. Just imagine what else is dirty, it's unlikely they would pass health inspection. The only reason they are in business is because of seniors with no taste buds. It's cheap because the food is cheap!

Prices are fantastic (cheaper than Cracker Barrel or IHOP), and the quality is better, too. Seat yourself!

Excellent service. Food was warm and delicious. Will be back again for sure. My husband had the French toast and I had biscuits and gravy. Very tasty we enjoyed everything about it.

Went there on a Saturday. There was a wait didn't realize how small the place is wanted to try because the reviews were good. Usually with breakfast your in and out really quick but our food took forever! Once we finally got our food mine was cold. I never like to send stuff back but I can not eat cold breakfast. I got the eggs Florentine so I sent it back and they microwaved it and they brought it back out and it was still cold. So it went back 3 times the server was nice and felt bad but I would probably not go back. There are a lot of breakfast places in spring hill

Hadn't been here in a long time... my husband and I stopped in for breakfast a week or so ago. I was pleasantly surprised that they'd added a few new menu items as specials. The staff was friendly. The prices were reasonable. The only down side was that it seemed like the food was coming out of the kitchen out of order. For example, the man next to us got his food before all the other tables that had been waiting longer. We got our food before another table that ordered before us also. Not sure what was happening with that but the food was delicious. My eggs Benedict (a new menu item) was great. In the past I've usually gotten the omelets and been happy.

Great place for breakfast with friendly service and good food with attention to detail at reasonable prices. Great breakfast biscuits that they brown on the grill, warm syrup with pancakes and home fries!

The best people and great food! Not a large restuarant, and they shut down at 2:00 everyday. The friendliest people around thought; they were very accomodating for our party of 6. I highly recommend visiting this place!!

My Husband, Roger, and I found this jewel a few years ago.. We have breakfast here a few times per week.. The Staff is beyond friendly and the food wonderful.. My Husband likes his eggs basted, which seems to be a problem for many restaurants..The Cafe always gets them right! I have had many of the breakfast offerings.. They even make up whatever I ask for.. The food is better since in new owner.. Doesn't get much better than that!

A small, "mom-and-pop" cafe tucked in a strip mall, My Favorite Cafe is absolutely a stop you should make. It may not look like much from outside, but inside you'll be greeted with a warm, home-felt atmosphere. It has a bit of a grandmotherly feel to it, but that shouldn't be taken as an insult. No one makes one feel at home like grandma does! There's not a lot of seating space (I'm referring to large groups), but there's plenty to of space for the crowd that was dining yesterday when we went in. We sat in one of the booths that lines the wall, and were immediately greeted by our server who happily explained the menu and the specials. So, the nuts and bolts: the hours are limited (they typically do breakfast and lunch), the menu is chalk-full of choices that will satisfy your stomach while cuddling your wallet, and the service will make you smile. There was one thing on the menu that was a little puzzling, and that was the fact that about four or five entrees (including a couple you would really think would be on the full-time menu - i.e., chicken fingers and open-faced turkey sandwich) were listed as "Monday through Friday only." So, because reading just isn't enough for me, I decided to ask if I could get the chicken fingers despite the fact that it clearly indicated they were only available from Monday through Friday. Our server's response? "Yes, you just have to have fries with it instead of the mashed potatoes because those aren't available on the weekend." Huh? lol Overall, this is a treat, and it's one that you should really make the effort (and the drive, if you're in Tampa) to have a nice, comfortable breakfast or lunch at.

Decent prices for good size portions. Lots of menu options for various food preferences. We all enjoyed our meals, although there could have been a little more flavor in the buffalo chicken sandwich and the gyro was warm, but not hot. I would definitely recommend it though. Nice little place to eat.

Great little restaurant. Probably one of the cleanest establishments in Spring Hill. And the wait staff is very friendly and accommodating. The only reason that I only gave this restaurant 4 stars was because the portion size of my breakfast was rather small in comparison to other restaurants like Jersey Cafe. I would like to see them add more potatoes or hash browns, and maybe use larger eggs. But, I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Super excited to have had Yelp on my phone. It helped me find this place! I order eggs benedict for breakfast every time I eat breakfast out. So I have had my share of ups and downs, joys and disappointments, shock and awe with this menu item. I decided to give it a try at this restaurant "cafe". OMG! BEST I'VE EVER HAD and that's saying a lot! The egg was poached to perfection and the sauce was pure classic. Exactly how it's supposed to be done. Service was incredibly fast and friendly. On a Sunday morning the place was packed out with the after church crowd yet everything came out fast and piping hot! Coffee was quickly refilled even with every table full and a steady flow of guests coming in the door. The reviews are no joke. If you're in the area go! You can get breakfast for $2.99 or splurge like we did and end up spending a "whopping" $9 for larger meals. I wish we lived closer but even being 45 minutes away, we'll be back!!!

Had seen the ads in the Flyer & decided to check it out today. VERY glad we did. Like the other reviewers state, the outside gives one no indication of the warm, friendly atmosphere inside. The menu is impressive & a lot of thought was put into it. Not just your standards. I decided to go for broke & order the Country Favorite omelet, he had the frisbee sized pancake. We were served quickly, our waitress was friendly, cheerful & efficient. The sausage gravy that smothered my omelet & was incredible AND homemade! (as is everything else on the menu). The grits were perfect, the coffee was hot, strong & always a refill nearby. All in all a wonderful place to have a great meal, feel at home & welcome. I'll be going back soon for the NY style Corned Beef Reuben. Was told by Laura (one of the owners) that it's a favorite of much of the clientele. Looking forward to it!
